Doe In The Snow
Doe in the Snow is an homage to the fruity chypre perfumes of the late 1960s and 1970s. Sarah McCartney’s modern interpretation is a graceful blend of citrus fruits, flowers and woods stirred with an icicle. She uses a crystalline breeze of sparkling aldehydes to create an icy glaze on rounded, peachy softness and a blanketing of downy snow on pale white roses and jasmine cradled in woods. She softens the notoriously steely-eyed glare of the classical chypre base with green tea absolute, which surrounds the oakmoss in a velvety plush texture. Understated and fabulously retro.
