Lance is a perfume full of paradoxes - earthy and airy; hot and cold. Its opening accord of pear skin is a masterclass in tension. You smell a fully realized pear, but you’re never offered the sweet fruit inside.
The creeping heat of smoked orris and sweaty hum of cumin collide with a metallic rose and carrot seed. Grounding woods and loamy patchouli sliced through by coriander’s icy talon.
Lance is an olfactory roller coaster, but it never feels overwhelming. It wears like an armour of dark smoke and a glower with a surprisingly soft heart.
